Open Day le JamieBeidh CLG Ard Mhacha ag eagrú a lá oscailte Dé Luain 5 Bealtaine sa Pháirc Lúthchleasaíochta ar 1pm. Mar chuid den lá, beidh CAIRDE Teo ag eagrú roinnt imeachtaí go speisialta do pháistí na ngaelscoileanna. Beidh deis ag na páistí bualadh leis na himreoirí uilig agus beidh na Gaeilgeoirí ar na foirne iontach sásta bualadh le páistí na ngaelscoileanna go háirithe. Beidh turas Gaeilge thart ar an Pháirc Lúthchleasaíochta faoi stiúir na n-imreoirí agus beidh deis ag na páistí páirt a ghlacadh i dtráth na gceisteanna agus i gcomórtas ciceanna éirice. Beidh féiríní ann do gach páiste a ghlacann páirt sa Lá Oscailte agus beidh grianghraf foirne ar fáil le go dtig leis na páistí síniú na n-imreoirí a fháil. Beidh aghaidhphéinteáil ann fosta agus seans le grianghraif a fháil leis na himreoirí uilig.

Chomh maith leis an lá oscailte, beidh CLG Ard Mhacha ag eagrú siúlóide urraithe an mhaidin sin le hairgead a thiomsú do roinnt carthanas agus d’fhoirne Ard Mhacha. Cuirfear tús leis an tsiúlóid 5 chiliméadar ag an Pháirc Lúthchleasa ar a 11 agus más mian leat páirt a ghlacadh ann, thig leat cárta urraíochta a fháil ó Seán in oifig CAIRDE Teo nó thig leat urraíocht a thabhairt dó. Beidh na himreoirí agus bainisteoirí uilig ag glacadh páirte sa tsiúlóid agus ba mhaith an rud ionadaíocht Ghaelach bheith sa tsiúlóid.

BKJf0sxCIAMxtDcArmagh GAA will be organising their annual open day on Monday 5 May at the Athletic Grounds at 1pm. As part of the day, CAIRDE Teo will be organising a number of activities for children from the gaelscoileanna. The children will have the opportunity to meet with the players and the Irish speaking players will be delighted to meet the children from local gaelscoileanna. The Gaeilgeoirí on the Armagh teams will bring participants on an Irish language tour of the Athletic Grounds and children will be able to take part in a quiz and in penalty kick competitions. There will be goodie bags for the children who attend the open day and team photographs will be available for children to get autographs. There will also be facepainting and an opportunity to be photographed alongside the players.

As well as the open day, Armagh GAA are organising a sponsored walk that morning to raise money for three local charities and for the various Armagh teams. The 5k walk gets underway at the Athletic Grounds at 11am and if you would like to take part, you can sponsor Seán or call in to the CAIRDE Teo office for a sponsorship card. The players and management teams will be taking part in the walk and the Irish language Officer would encourage Irish speakers to come along and join in support of our county teams.
