The first storytelling session which was held last Saturday proved very popular and was a great success. Renowned storyteller and actor Frances Quinn was special guest and she told a number of stories from her repertoire to the children from Bunscoil na mBráithre Críostaí and their parents and grandparents. Frances is originally from the well-known Quinn family here in Armagh and she spent a period in London before returning to Ireland, where she now resides in Belfast. As well as the storytelling, the children drew pictures of one of the characters from their favourite story told by Frances. She will be back at the Navan Centre this Saturday 15 November and Saturday 22 November and would be delighted to see all those present last week back again, as well as new faces. The storytelling sessions are free of charge and everyone is welcome to attend. Please note that children should be accompanied by an adult.
