The new Down and Oriel Irish Language Forum seeks to provide a platform and the space for all of us with an interest in promoting the Irish-language through our own work and lives to come together to share advice, support, best-practice, etc. and to look at ways we can promote the use of Irish in the greater Newry, Down and Oriel areas. We hope to discuss these functions and aims on the day. There are similar forums to these in several other areas across the north and further afield, and they are brilliant ways Irish-language workers and activists from across the board support each other to ultimately support the language. Ní neart go cur le chéile.
