
With the new term of Irish classes underway, Cairde Teo are offering ten learners an opportunity to take part in a special excursion to the south Donegal Gaeltacht areas of Gleann Cholm Cille and Teileann.
This trip starts in Donegal Town with a visit to Hanna Hats and Magee 1866. The journey continues to Sliabh Liag, where visitors can enjoy panoramic views over Donegal Bay, Ireland’s ultimate sea cliffs. Following a visit to the viewing point, visitors have the option to view the majestic cliffs.
Stop off for traditional Irish music and locally produced artisan lunch at the Rusty Mackerel Pub Restaurant before stepping back in time to get a real taste of the history, heritage and culture of Donegal at Glencolmcille Folk Village where visitors will have the opportunity to learn a couple of words in Irish.
The cost of the day trip is £15 and the bus will leave Armagh City Hotel at 8.00am sharp. We expect to be back in Armagh at 7pm.
